While I strolled the farmers market, every smile I was met with was a welcomed relief amidst all the change. Every step alone gave me the confidence to smile right back.
Today I bought myself flowers, because once you let go of the only thing holding you down, you start to realize that you deserve more.
Starting over... it's not so bad. You see while we live in a world separated by far less than the old "seven degrees", we also live in a world where moving on can be as easy as hitting the "unfriend" button on one's social networking website. Sometimes you just need a clean break. Nothing is quite as complicated as the thoughts that clutter a persons sense of self and no one can take you away from you unless you let them. A beginning starts with a thought but doesn't happen without an action. You know when you are done, but you must make the conscious decision to move on. In the long run, life is worth it.
A snake sheds its skin to new life
as the sun rises to a new day.
Be thankful for every start you are given
and learn from every end that has occurred.
